It provides advice and guidance to corporate officers and directors, shareholders, partners and members, as well as advice to the entities themselves. In addition to preparing the documents required to begin a business, such as articles of incorporation or organization, bylaws, operating agreements, partnership agreements and the like, the Firm also drafts employment agreements, stockholder agreements, covenants not to compete, and documents relating to sale or purchase of all or part of a business itself. The Firm can also assist in review and negotiation of commercial financing documents with a client's lenders. Webb, Burnett also advises clients on employment matters, including wage and hour law, employment agreements, employee terminations, discriminatory employment practices and other matters.
